QUATERLY SPORTS, SKILLS AND TALENT FAIR

QUATERLY SPORTS, SKILLS AND TALENT FAIR

Even with good initiatives like the ones we have as an organization, funding has over the years proven to be the biggest hurdle in progression; economically, in terms of education and civic acceptance and change. We do understand that alone we cannot be able to make the change we need in the community or reach our objective for this and the coming years, and that is why we want to start a quarterly sports, skills and talent fair.
We get to choose a destination where this can timely and effectively take place; preferably a school because of availability of space and resources. This can be carried out per ward or at a county level.

In organizing such a forum, we invite stake holders in different walks of life, both in the private and public sector. Heads of schools, institutions, organizations, companies, NGO’s, Counties and foreigners. From the local community based individuals that we work with on the Feeding Awareness Cleanliness and Education program, we will have determined each and every individual’s strong suit.

Individuals who are good at sports, have talent or possess outstanding skills, will participate in various organized tournaments {football, basketball, rugby, hockey, etc.}Those who have other talents {singing, dancing, drawing, etc.} and those who have skills {crafting, making ornaments, art and design} can showcase what they have. In doing so, most of them will get either scholarships, jobs or funding from the individuals and organizations that will be present.

This will not only create a gap that will give chance to other needy, vulnerable or ex-radicalised victims in the society to join our organization, but it will also lessen the big margin of unemployment, insecurity and illiteracy the country is currently facing.
